Are you a seasoned leader in food manufacturing with a passion for efficiency and quality? We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our Margarine production facility and ensure our products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Production Operations Management : Plan, organize, and manage daily production to achieve targets. This involves optimizing efficiency, minimizing waste and downtime, identifying process enhancement opportunities, and integrating technology. Prepare and present production reports to management and work with cross-functional teams like procurement, maintenance, logistics, and R&D.
- Quality Management & Compliance : Oversee production activities to meet targets and maintain quality standards. Ensure compliance with relevant certification systems including FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 / ISO 9001 / MS 1480 and statutory / regulatory bodies.
- People Management : Supervise, train, and motivate production staff. This includes creating shift schedules, managing manpower planning, and implementing effective training & development plans.
- Inventory Management : Responsible for stock count and variance reports to Finance, as well as taking preventive measures against inventory misappropriation. Manage a team of Planners to ensure the right inventory and feed stock are available prior to production.
- Safety & Health Administration : Safeguard Occupational Health & Safety for the workforce and report food safety concerns to your Superior.
Qualifications
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Manufacturing or Engineering.Experience : A minimum of 10 years of experience in food production or manufacturing management.Expertise : Extensive experience relevant to Margarine or Food manufacturing processes and demonstrated expertise in overseeing manufacturing operations, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality production.Knowledge : Strong knowledge of food safety standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001, MS 1480, HALAL).Skills : Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and production management software.Key Competencies : Strong leadership and team management, a commitment to food safety and quality assurance, and an analytical and process improvement mindset.If you are a driven leader ready to manage all aspects of a cutting-edge food production process, apply today!
