Manager, Strategic Business Development

Overview

Strategic Business Development Manager is responsible to drive sales by product line, support agency force product-related enquiry and training, and development of strategy in managing agency communication on product perspective. In addition, this Manager responsible for planning and coordinating targeted agency members to promote insurance products and services to Group Insurance customer base. This role requires close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to actively engage agency members in promoting and cross-selling individual life insurance products to employees of corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a structured framework to facilitate effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across assigned projects.
• Work closely with Business Development Team and Agency Force of assigned region in regards to product enquiry and clarifications.
• Conduct product briefing with agency force of assigned region to ensure accurate information is given to customers and policy holders.
• Contributing in assigned product and contest projects by identifying challenges and work on developing solutions.
• Conduct statistical study on product and sales response to support department to achieve business goals.
• Follow up and follow through assigned work deliverables.
• Provide guidance to Strategic Business Development Associate.
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlight any potential concerns / risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
