Supply Planning Executive

Job descriptionLiaise with factories to communicate replenishment requirements and follow up on production status Monitor factory performance and ensure timely execution of replenishment plans Adjust schedules in response to capacity constraints, downtime, or delays Ensure smooth alignment between factory output and demand priorities Monitor inventory levels at warehouses against targets and safety stock settings Review inventory health to identify risks of overstock or stock-out Take proactive action such as expediting or deferring replenishment as needed Ensure inventory turnover and service levels remain within optimal range Align with Demand Planner to adjust supply in line with forecast updates Work closely with Logistics team to ensure inbound movements follow the replenishment plan Participate in S&OP and weekly supply review meetings, reporting supply status, risks, and corrective action Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supply imbalances or constraints Supervise order processing for distributors, retail chains, and export partners Review SO / DO accuracy, export documentation completeness, and order timelines Coordinate closely with sales, logistics, and warehouse to resolve offline order issues Maintain visibility of all B2B delivery status and manage customer follow-ups Track and report key supply KPIs : replenishment adherence, on-time delivery, fill rate, and days of supply Conduct analysis of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions Refine planning parameters (e.g., lead times, safety stock) for better accuracy and efficiency. Plan initial replenishment for new product launches to ensure readiness at launch Manage smooth phase-in / phase-out of product changes or discontinuations Prevent obsolete or excess inventory by carefully controlling replenishment during transitions Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field 3–5 years’ experience in supply planning, replenishment, or FMCG operations Strong knowledge of replenishment cycles, lead times, and inventory management principles Proficiency in ERP / planning tools and Excel Strong coordination skills across planning, factory, and logistics functions Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to process accuracy Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Supply Planning & Replenishment Oversight
- Translate demand forecasts into replenishment plans and factory production requirements
- Develop short-term replenishment schedules (weekly / monthly) and longer-term supply outlook
- Consider lead times, minimum order quantities, and production cycles to secure continuous availability
- Balance supply to avoid both overstock and stock-out situations
