Job descriptionCandidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent. At least 2 years working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fast worker, dynamic, self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (both verbal & written). Work independently with minimum supervision. Liaise with all levels of management. Work under pressure and extra hours when required. Manage full spectrum of the accounting function / handle full set of accounts. Assist Accountant in preparing annual budget and forecasts. Literacy in accounting software and other computer applications. Committed sense of urgency, responsible and hard-working. Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day operations of the Accounts Department
- Prepare full set of financial statements and monthly management reports
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments
