Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Certified or competent in PLC and robot controls (e.g., FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial automation, robotic programming, and CNC troubleshooting.
- Proven hands-on experience with robotic programming, CNC troubleshooting, automation integration and teach pendants operation, PLCs, HMI systems, and fieldbus networks.
- Knowledge in PID tuning, parameter adjustments, and machine cycle optimization.
- Familiar with condition monitoring, predictive diagnostics, handling maintenance tools, and data-driven machine analysis.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, ROS) and robotic simulation tools.
- Familiar with CAD tools for mechanical system analysis and layout planning.
Job Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, control wiring, and PLC ladder logic, including troubleshooting power and control circuits safely.Develop industrial robots, programming, operating, and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, Staubli, ABB, Yaskawa) using teach pendants and robot software tools.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in CNC machines and robotic systems.Interpret and modify G-code / M-code, perform CNC calibration, spindle alignment, backlash compensation, and servo tuning.Develop and troubleshoot HMI screens, alarm logs, and user interfaces to ensure efficient and user-friendly machine operation.Integrate sensors (vision, laser, proximity), actuators, drives, EOATs, and peripheral devices into robotic and CNC systems.Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet / IP, Profinet, Modbus, and other fieldbus systems.Conduct system optimization for robotic and CNC processes—including cycle time improvement, synchronization, and tooling layout efficiency.Lead automation upgrades, retrofits, and restoration projects, including feasibility studies and implementation.Lead new equipment purchase, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up, ensuring full integration into existing systems.Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance and to ensure uptime and prolong equipment life
