Job descriptionMinimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related fields. At least 1-3 years of working experience in FMCG industry or supply chain management field. Demonstrate advanced understanding of demand forecasting methodology / tools Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with analytical skills. Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office application. Work location is Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Minyak, Penang
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with Supply Planning to ensure agreed Forecast are passed on in timely manner, to enable Supply Planner to make speedy and correct actions.
- Works with Sales and Marketing to acquire and analyse information regarding historical data, market trends, and any other events, historical or current, which impact and influence customer demand.
- Liaise with HQ supply chain executive for the monthly forecast volume.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing for new products or promotional pack launch timeline.
- Maintain the absolute and net forecast accuracy targets. Make recommendations to management to continuously improve the forecast accuracy.
- Develop contingency plan to mitigate risks and respond to unexpected changes in demand patterns.
- Monitor weekly and monthly stock movement and highlight high and low stock level to management.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
