Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed the established annual sales quota.
- Initiate the sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, presenting solutions, understanding business needs, developing proposals and closing sales.
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing additional solutions and services and, where possible, developing new and innovative applications.
- Close sales by establishing rapport with potential customers, highlighting the benefits of our solutions and service capabilities and overcoming objections.
- Proactively keep product knowledge and market trends up to date through educational opportunities offered by Smith+Naphew or other appropriate channels.
- Accountable for customer satisfaction and providing high quality service.
- Maintain commitments in a timely manner and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain an accurate customer database.
- Be familiar with competitors’ strategies and product features / benefits; provide market information and feedback to support strategy through monitoring and end‑user input.
- Provide feedback on market information regarding competitors’ activities, product pricing, SWOT analyses in reports and sales meetings.
- Effectively manage the assigned territory and accounts.
- Control operating expenses to stay within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Education.3–5 years of sales experience in Medical Devices.Knowledge of the clinical segment / product platform preferred.Ability to perform sales tasks such as forecasting, pricing, product development, positioning, promotion, planning, portfolio management and surgeon advisory panel engagement.Benefits
