Position Title : Welding Engineer

Tenure : Permanent

Remuneration : RM4,000 – RM7,000

Responsibilities

Design, fabricate and assemble welding components and products
Analyse blueprints and other technical issues related to welding quality
Select the appropriate welding techniques and methods for the job
Conduct tests and inspections on welded components
Planning and managing welding process.
Developing welding processes and procedures
Monitoring welding quality and preparing welding reports
Selecting, assembling, and setting up welding equipment
Using heat analysis and metallurgical knowledge to determine the correct welding process for each application
Troubleshooting welding problems and determining corrective actions
Performing welding tests and inspections
Conducting welding research
Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on project design and develop efficient method
Maintain and verify the status of the repaired welding equipment and the efficiency
Ensure all the welding quality is maintained and meet the standard of ISO3834 and EN 1090.

Requirements

Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Knowledge of safety procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving skills

Good interpersonal and communication skill.

Ability to work as a team.

Experience in ISO 3834 and EN 1090 will be an advantage.
