About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chambermaid to join our team at Pangkor Coral Bay Resort in the beautiful island of Pangkor, Perak. As a Chambermaid, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by meticulously cleaning and maintaining our resort rooms and public areas.

What you'll be doing

  • Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
  • Tidy and maintain the cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or supplies that need restocking.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests with any reasonable requests.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and coordinated efforts.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Chambermaid or in a similar housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively complete tasks within set timeframes.
  • Friendly and customer-oriented, with the ability to provide exceptional service.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
