Financial Accounting (Vietnamese Speaking) | MNC Professional Services | KL

Company overview

Our client is an established MNC that is a strong player in the Financial industry. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a financial accounting professional to join their team in KL.

The new role

Reporting to Team Leader, you will be assisting in reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of the accounting, reporting, and payments process deliverables prepared. You will ensure that the reporting and payment process deliverables submitted to clients or stakeholders are within agreed timelines. Participate in mentoring, guiding, and overseeing the work quality and deliverables while supporting the Team Lead in task management. Perform and review bookkeeping and accounting entries in the accounting system. Prepare and review a full set of accounts, closing, aging / listings, and all related accounting schedules. Review and approve bank reconciliations and cash flow projections. Provide effective support to the payroll functional team and ensure clear communication across functions and team members. Prepare and review audit and tax schedules for year-end finalization.

Requirements to succeed

The successful candidate must possess a Diploma, Degree, or be in the midst of pursuing professional studies in Accounting or Finance or any equivalent professional qualification. A minimum of 3 years of working experience is required. Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage. Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel skills are essential. Past relevant experience in supporting cross functions and / or multi-countries is an added advantage. You should be people-oriented and a team player, hardworking, possess good communication skills, and demonstrate good time management. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese is necessary. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision is expected.
