Dietitian

Responsible for the provision of efficient and effective nutrition support and dietetic care services for all patients, including both inpatients and outpatients at Sunway Medical Centre Damansara.

Assist in coordinate and implement community nutrition services such as support groups, small group education, healthy eating campaigns and other nutrition related activities with supervision.

Plays a trainer role in developing teaching modules and educating relevant hospital personnel and ensuring appropriate food services to inpatients and to lead a department project as assigned under supervision.

Responsible for nutritional and dietetic care services rendered to patients at assigned wards and / or outpatient clinics. Services including Nutrition Screening, Nutritional Assessment, Dietary intervention / medical nutrition support, Diet Counselling / Education, Weekend / Public Holiday On-Call Services. As part of multidisciplinary team, maintain close liaison with other health professionals and participate in integrated patient case review meetings.

Job Requirement :

Degree in Dietetics, recognized by the Malaysian Allied Health Profession Council.

Registered Dietitian under Allied Health Professions Act 2016 and eligible for Ordinary Member of Malaysia Dietitians’ Association.

Fresh graduates or minimum 1 year of relevant working experience at clinical or food service related setting.

Required skill(s) : Entry level of Dietetics graduate competency and competence in general medical nutrition therapy.

Responsive, aggressive, proactive, and a self-starter.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
