SMB Team Lead, Business Development (Johor) - ShopeeFood
Location : Johor, Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of field sales, providing coaching, developing strategies, and monitoring performance to achieve KPIs.
- Identify localized business opportunities to drive merchant growth and achieve team targets.
- Collaborate with business leads and cross-functional teams to align with ShopeeFood’s business objectives.
- Support the development of win-win solutions for partners and ShopeeFood based on business needs.
- Drive localized business growth through competitor analysis, sales planning, and merchant engagement strategies.
- Proactively manage relationships with merchants to ensure satisfaction and growth within the designated area.
- Ensure the team meets operational and strategic goals while maintaining a focus on merchant success.
Requirements
Based in Johor with knowledge of the local market landscape.Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably but not limited to Business, Commerce, or Marketing.Familiarity with e-commerce, food delivery, and partnerships.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with good business acumen.Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Effective in collaborating with stakeholders and working within cross-functional teams.Innovative problem-solver with the ability to analyze issues and develop practical solutions.Prior experience in people management / leading a team is preferred.Excellent command of English; fluency in additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) is an advantage.Seniority level
