Requirements
- Previous experience as a Baker, Pastry Assistant, or similar role is a plus.
- Passion for baking and pastry arts.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food handling certification (preferred but not required).
- Willing to assist with daily front-of-house operations such as preparing beverages, handling cashier duties, and providing customer service when needed (training will be provided).
- A strong team player with a commitment to delivering excellent hospitality.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic needs of daily operations.
Responsibilities
Baking & Pastry Production :
Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies.Follow recipes and instructions from the Management / System.Ensure all ingredients and products comply with halal standards, including sourcing and handling.Measure and mix ingredients according to baking formulas.Operate and maintain baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters.Decorate pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and creativity.Quality Control, Food Safety & Halal :
Ensure all baked goods meet quality and taste standards.Monitor baking times and temperatures to prevent overcooking or undercooking.Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.Follow all food safety,sanitation & Halal guidelines.Follow the established kitchen system, procedures, and workflow to ensure consistency and efficiency.Inventory & Organization :
Assist in managing inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness.Help in keeping the baking station clean and organized.Basic Role as Front In House
Provide support in barista duties, cashier operations, and floor service as needed (training will be provided).Demonstrate strong teamwork and a collaborative attitude.Uphold the core responsibilities of the Front of House team by delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service.Benefits
