Chargeman (A4)

Having a HOSPITAL or HEALTHCARE work experience is an added advantage.

Must have A4 Chargeman certification.

• Communicate with the Head of Facilities to lead the operation & maintenance work, especially on activities related to electrical.
• Assist the Head of Facilities in running day-to-day operation and maintenance activities in the facilities department, especially on electrical work.
• Assist the Head of Facilities in monitoring workers' discipline and enforcing safety rules and regulations, including PPE and other safety measures.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire facility, electrical installation, and monitoring low-voltage facility equipment performance.
• Oversee contractor work arrangements related to electrical and attend inspections by authorities (DOSH, ST, BOMBA, etc).
• Monitor incoming electrical supply and operate electrical standby generator systems (minimum A4 grade), including daily recording of meter reading (KW / H) of the generator.
• Perform repair and maintenance work, preventive maintenance tasks on all switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers (minimum A4 grade).
• Ensure all laws and regulations related to electrical systems and installations are complied with authorities (Suruhanjaya Tenaga, etc).
• Conduct periodic inspections on all electrical services and provide technical reports on their performance.
• Develop, execute, and report on planned preventive maintenance with the internal Facilities Coordinator to ensure all related equipment is ready to use and in good condition.
• Able to perform other job requests by the Head of Facilities, such as basic plumbing, carpentry, minor painting work, and handyman jobs.
• Accountable for ensuring smooth daily operations, not limited to electrical and mechanical tasks only, but that all operations and management maintenance activities are carried out according to operating standards.
