Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.
Check, process, and record all payments, administer invoices and expense claims received, code items to agreed budgets, and action payments.
Maintain proper records and filing of all relevant paperwork.
Provide reports and information to superiors as required.
Overall day-to-day office management.
Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
Report any troubling discoveries or suspicions of wrongdoing to the proper authorities.
Adhere to the company's or organization's financial policies and procedures.
Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives.
Ensure all data is up to date and backed up.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial and employee files.
Undertake general admin tasks under the direction of the finance manager. E.g. dealing with items of correspondence, telephone messages, and inquiries and filing.
Perform other duties as and when assigned or requested.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Must possess at least a Diploma, bachelor's degree, or Professional Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Administration, or equivalent.
Understanding of data privacy standards; familiarity with business principles and practices. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the position.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Have a strong sense of commitment, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SQL systems.
A very good command of English .
Experience / familiarity with SQL systems is an added advantage.
