The Role

• Implement and set up the new IFRS 17 reporting standard requirements and ensure consistency across all entities within Great Eastern
• Draft GE Group’s interpretation of the IFRS 17 reporting standard into the Technical Accounting Papers
• Design a strategic framework that includes an assessment of the size of the transition block and recommendation for the best transition approach
• Drive the design and building of Prophet model architecture for IFRS 17 calculation
• Drive and manage end-to-end UAT on the IFRS reporting process
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlights any potential concerns / risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
• Other tasks as assigned
