Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of quantification principles and practices.
- Exhibit basic cost estimating skills and the ability to contribute to cost analysis.
- Ability to read, write, and converse fluently in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific quantity surveying procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with senior quantity surveyors.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.Support senior quantity surveyors in the measurement and quantification of construction works.Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract conditions.Participate in site visits to assess progress, identify variations, and resolve contractual issues.Maintain accurate records of all project-related costs, quantities, and variations.Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor quotations and invoices.Support the procurement process by assisting in the preparation of purchase orders and contracts.Assist in the preparation of monthly progress reports and final accounts.Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and subcontractors.Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.Benefits
