Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage both direct and indirect sourcing and procurements.
  • Develop sourcing strategy for OSAT packages and tooling vendors.
  • Negotiate assembly and package pricing to improve cost roadmap.
  • Partner with engineers to drive cost down through value engineering.
  • Maintain a cost roadmap database modeling all company costs.
  • Work with product definition team to develop financial models for new products.
  • Support all administrative aspects of the sourcing function.
  • Organize and run quarterly business reviews with fabs and assembly suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in design and assembly of semiconductor packages.
  • Strong communication skills at the executive level.
  • Additional language skill in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong experience conducting business in Asia.
  • Strong analytical and outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Business savviness.

    • Education

  • BS or MS in materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering.
  • MBA, CPSM or other procurement certification or training is a plus.
