Providing strategic direction, leadership & supervision for both site IT teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and continual improvement aligned with Group IT.
Overall responsible for site user helpdesk support, reliable infrastructure (Network, Cybersecurity) & systems (ERP and other applications) availability, working with relevant teams for implementation and compliance.
With the support of Group IT, to manage & optimize site specific enterprise systems, including ERP (e.g. SAP, INFOR, etc) and Analytics Platforms to support business operations.
Ensure relevant access controls, and audit readiness across operations.
Oversee major site IT projects, including defining IT project timelines for system updates, upgrades, migrations, planned maintenance, etc.
Support the business in assessing and recommending IT improvements (Hardware / Software) that enable business value, ensuring alignment with operational goals and strategic needs.
Managing respective site IT budget allocation process to ensure value-driven technology investments.
Establish and maintain complete documentation of infrastructure architecture, assets and systems, IT Policies & Procedures, aligned with Group best practice guidelines and policy.
Provide timely updates & reports to management (Direct / Functional) on performance.
Drive digitalization of plant manufacturing and documentation systems including supporting automation of manufacturing data consolidation and display i.e. manufacturing dashboards, online systems and others.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field with at least 5 years in IT support role.
At least 5 years supervising / managing IT teams, is required.
Proven experience in manufacturing environments (e.g., furniture, shopfloor systems, plant automation, etc.). Experience in Programming is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, and networking, such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, is required.
Technical training or certifications in the technical field, including ITIL is an added advantage.
Good team player, strong interpersonal, troubleshooting, coordination skills and multitasking capabilities.
Experience working with Group IT is an added advantage.
