Key Responsibilities :
Product Management (50%)
Define product positioning and manage the product life cycle, including range extensions, deletions, and supersessions. Implement product policy for the ASEAN region.
- Regularly review product range, including gap analysis against vehicle parc and competitor comparisons.
- Assist in evaluating supplier technical compliance performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers on product specifications, including packaging, labeling, inserts, and product appearance.
- Coordinate with technical department for the new product training for internal and external before the new product training handover to technical department .
Sourcing (30%)
Define sourcing strategy for each product category and implement it effectively.Conduct sourcing studies to maintain best-in-class sourcing and achieve world-class cost prices.Identify and acquire new suppliers.Make informed sourcing decisions.Establish supplier contracts and manage them on an ongoing basis.Plan stock requirements for new products before handover to the supply chain department.Marketing (10%)
Develop marketing plans targeting key groups for each product within the portfolio, aligned with company strategies and budgets.Develop and implement brand and communication strategies.Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities, products, and services.Manage budgets to ensure all marketing activities are delivered within agreed limits.Financials : (10%)
Monitor key financial figures monthly and coordinate cross-department actions where recovery is needed or opportunities arise.Take responsibility for product line sales and gross margin in Malaysia, in line with the operating plan.Key Performance Measures

Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry.Proven experience working as a distributor and managing wholesaler networks.Analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of the product management processes.Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email, and internet applications.Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
