Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technician specialized in fiber optic and copper cables located in Kuala Lumpur. The Technician will be responsible for installing, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cables. Daily tasks include cable termination, maintaining network systems, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations. The Technician will work with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing, splicing, and terminating fiber optic and copper cables
• Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cable installations
• Knowledge of network systems and infrastructure
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations for cabling
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in relevant technical fields is a plus
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions
