Job description / Responsibilities :

Technical Knowledge & Skill Development

Tooling Management : Learn about various tooling materials, maintenance procedures, and inventory control. Predictive & Strategic Planning

Data-Driven Decisions : Learn predictive maintenance and data analytics to optimize tooling lifespan.

Process Improvement : Study Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency.

Planning & Operational Execution

Prototype Fabrication :

Review engineering requests and specifications for prototype samples.

Plan material usage, machine usage, and tooling and ensure availability for fabrication.

• Allocate work priorities based on project deadlines.

Tooling Management :

Maintain 6S in good condition for the tooling room area.

Perform daily tooling servicing to prevent production downtime.

Process Improvement :

Evaluate efficiency in prototype fabrication and tooling operations.

Identify and address bottlenecks in workflow and implement corrective actions.

Conduct tooling room 6S activity improvement for tooling storage inventory.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Prototype Status Update : Progress reports on prototype fabrication, including pending, in progress, completed, etc.

Tooling Room Status : 6S Monitoring, pending tooling to service (External), etc.

Experience :

Previous internship experience or entry-level role in engineering, manufacturing, or related areas is preferred.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
