Teaching Duties
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning standards.
- Develop students’ language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to varying language proficiency levels.
- Integrate creative and interactive teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning materials to support student learning.
2. Assessment and Reporting
Conduct formative and summative assessments to track student progress.Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behaviour.Prepare term reports and participate in student progress meetings when required.3. Classroom Management
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.Manage classroom routines, expectations, and student behaviour effectively.Foster respect, cooperation, and responsibility among students.4. Professionalism and Collaboration
Collaborate with HOD, Coordinator and colleagues in planning lessons, projects, and school events.Participate actively in departmental and staff meetings.Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership.Uphold the school’s professional and ethical standards at all times.5. Professional Development
Engage in continuous professional learning to enhance teaching skills and content knowledge.Participate in workshops, training, and peer observations.Reflect on teaching practices and implement feedback for improvement.6. Co-Curricular Involvement
Support and participate in school events, activities, and co-curricular programmes.Encourage students to use English confidently in daily school life and activities.Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in English, TESL, TESOL, Education, or related field.At least 2 years of working experience as an English teacher.Prior experience in teaching secondary-level ESL students is an advantage.Strong command of English (spoken and written).Good classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
