Registered Staff Nurse

Overview

To scrub and assist the doctors in their surgery cases and their clinics. Manage the CSSD to ensure surgical instruments are sterilised and available at all times, and all consumables are in stock. Provide initial patient consultation, evaluation, and treatment. Preparation of patients for clinical procedures. Provide patient counselling and education on pertinent health issues. Perform the role of liaison for doctors and other staff to ensure quality medical care and address issues for improvement. Provide nursing cover for OT, Counselling or Medication area, and the nurse department as required. To ensure high safety and ethical practice standards. Maintaining excellent patient care and a feedback mechanism. Organise, file, and privately maintain health information. Manage all surgical patients pre and post-operatively. Ensure all surgical charges are posted accordingly. Maintaining adequate medical inventories. To participate and contribute to the marketing and expansion activities of the centre as the need arises.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing.
• Possess a valid APC or Retention of Name, and registered with the Nursing Board
• Good Knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Polite and caring in nature.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
