Manager, Analytics (Senior Data Scientist)

Overview

The Senior Data Scientist / Manager, Analytics leads advanced analytics projects for the Consumer and Business Banking units to drive tangible business outcomes such as increased sales, revenue, and improved customer engagement. The role shapes AI strategy and execution to drive innovation, improve operations, and elevate customer relationships. This position reports to the Assistant General Manager of Business Campaigns & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data-Driven Initiatives : Initiate and manage analytics projects for the Consumer and Business Banking units to drive sales, increase revenue through cross-sell and up-sell, and improve customer retention and engagement, including developing and improving customer segmentation using Advanced Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI.
• Support Business Decisions : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and embed data analytics to inform strategic decisions such as sales, acquisition strategies, and revenue generation.
• Manage Projects and Develop Solutions : Oversee data-driven projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget; analyze large datasets, apply statistical and machine learning methods, and develop predictive models addressing business needs.
• Improve Operations and Communication : Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining and automating processes; communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences through clear data visualizations and reports.
• Mentor and Stay Current : Mentor junior data scientists, contribute to the bank and department AI strategy, and stay up-to-date with the latest data science tools and techniques.
