Purpose Statement

The Sr Mgr - Quality supports the strategic planning, development, execution and compliance of Plexus’ corporate Quality Management System (QMS) to all applicable quality regulations and standards. To differentiate Plexus from the competition, the Mgr - Quality supports and helps create a culture of quality and helps build customer confidence by leading Plexus’ quality, supplier, and regulatory teams (as applicable) and collaborating across the enterprise to ensure Plexus delivers defect‑free designs and products.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Leads monitoring and maintenance of site Quality Metrics to identify and deploy best practices and drive continuous improvement. Also helps develop and upgrade Quality site talent to ensure success.
• Acts as Quality Management Representative for the site, inclusive of Quality Engineering, Regulatory Compliance (to the extent applicable to the QMS), and Supplier Quality.
• Drives the use of problem‑solving tools and methodologies consistent with Plexus’ lean‑sigma culture. Accountable for leading CAPA performance and execution within the region.
• Leads operational quality assurance, supplier quality and QMS / regulatory teams to establish a quality roadmap for the continual improvement of manufacturing operations and supply base, improving quality, cost, and delivery of customer products.
• Manages external and internal site audit processes and the associated improvement cycle.
• Exemplifies and holds the team accountable for demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leads succession planning and ensures employees receive development and coaching to realize their full potential.
