Simplified Chinese to English Translator - Remote Sensing. This is a freelance opportunity with CACTUS / Editage to help researchers publish academic manuscripts.

Responsibilities

  • Translate academic manuscripts from Simplified Chinese to native English or from English to Simplified Chinese, focusing on remote sensing and related fields.
  • Combine language skills with subject-area expertise to ensure accuracy and clarity for publication in prestigious journals.
  • Work on manuscripts in various languages, with emphasis on technical translation in your field.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Translation or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training from a recognized institution.
  • A graduate (or higher) degree in any other field from a recognized institution plus two years of comprehensive professional experience in translation.
  • Five years of comprehensive professional experience in translation.
