Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an Equipment Sustaining Engineer to ensure our manufacturing tools operate at peak performance and reliability. You’ll work closely with production, maintenance, and vendor partners to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and minimize downtime. This role is hands-on and problem-solving oriented, requiring both technical expertise and a continuous improvement mindset.

Monitor and sustain equipment performance to ensure high reliability and operational efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Coordinate with maintenance teams and external vendors to drive timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

Implement engineering solutions and process improvements that enhance equipment durability and reduce downtime.

Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and equipment specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align equipment health with production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

Maintain accurate tool history, maintenance logs, and equipment records.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, EHS initiatives, and company policies in all equipment-related activities.

Participate in engineering projects and cross-site knowledge-sharing as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in equipment sustaining, troubleshooting, and maintenance engineering in manufacturing environments.

Technical Skills

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.

Familiarity with maintenance management systems, reliability tools, and engineering analysis methods.

Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices in high-tech or semiconductor settings is a plus.

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional groups.
