TAX MANAGER

Job Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the tax team to handle various tax engagements

Oversee timely preparation and submission of corporate, partnership, individual, withholding tax and other statutory tax filings

Provide tax advisory and consultancy to clients with regards to tax planning, tax audit and compliance with sales and services tax regulations

Liaise with tax authorities on tax correspondences and tax audit matters

Supervise work allocation and other administrative matters in the tax team

Keep abreast with changes in tax laws and regulations and guide the tax team to achieve professional growth and service excellence

TAX ASSISTANT

Job Responsibilities :

Prepare tax computation and submit the tax return for corporate, partnership and individual tax

Prepare tax estimation and revision and handle monthly installment payment

Liaise with clients and auditors on tax related issues

Attend to correspondences from tax authorities and handle various tax audits

Assist senior or manager in ad-hoc tasks assigned

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Taxation or pursuing Professional Qualification such as ICAEW, MICPA-CAANZ or ACCA

5 years of relevant experience for Tax Manager and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Tax Assistant position

Strong knowledge of local tax law and good leadership, people management and client service skills for Tax Manager position

Good team player ie able to work with others and share responsibilities

Detailed oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadline

Good command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
