Director of Sales & Business Development

Ibex is looking to source a candidate for Director Sales & Business Development position. The role is a leadership position responsible for driving business growth for BPO Contact Center Services by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, cultivating relationships, and developing strategies to expand market reach and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices for optimizing the sales process with the right tools; personalized customer interactions; and setting attainable expectations to increase revenue and retention.
  • Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities : Research new markets, analyze trends, and evaluate potential partnerships to expand the company's reach and revenue streams.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution : Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies : Create and execute plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Cultivating and Maintaining Relationships : Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and stakeholders to secure new business and maintain existing ones.
  • Leading, motivating, and mentoring sales teams to maximize performance and productivity.
  • Establishing realistic and challenging sales goals for the team and individuals.
  • Building Client Relationships : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Negotiation and Agreement Closure : Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners, ensuring agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with company goals.
  • Working with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Skils and Qualifications

  • Qualified with Bachelors / Masters in relevant domain / field
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience as per job role
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Strong Leadership and Management Skills : Experience in leading and motivating sales teams.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning : Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Relationship Management : Managing and nurturing relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop solutions.
  • Sales Expertise : In-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Negotiation and Persuasion Skills : Ability to negotiate deals and persuade clients.
  • Industry Knowledge : Understanding of the specific industry and market in which the company operates.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration : Leading and mentoring a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring alignment with other departments like sales and marketing.
  • Negotiation and Closing Skills : Strong negotiation and closing skills are needed to secure deals and partnerships.
