Responsibilities
- Assessing children's skills and learning requirements
- Designing Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs)
- Developing and designing activities that provide engaging learning opportunities for small groups and individual students while meeting required specifications of IEPs
- Implementation of IEPs, providing ongoing or follow-up assessments, and continually tracking progress
- Adapting learning materials to students' needs
- Collaborating with parents and school staff to track students' progress
- Acting as hybrid teachers, primarily focusing on the needs of children with diverse needs in the HSB department while also looking out for the well‑being of other children in the centre and assisting with centre‑wide activities when necessary
