Job Description
Assist the PMO Director, Project Management to co‑ordinate and ensure that the implementation for assigned projects is successfully delivered by appointed vendors. They will collaborate with other departments, secure resources, and oversee project scheduling, profit margins, and quality of installation work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other departments to secure resources needed for projects under direct supervision.
- Understand customer needs to achieve overall project goals and secure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in project meetings with various customers under direct supervision.
- Assist in schedule implementation to ensure smooth flow of project implementation.
- Deliver set profit margins of projects.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers and other Vertiv divisions and departments.
- Coordinate all M&E services efficiently at site.
- Supervise, motivate and develop the direct project team for continual improvement and optimised performance.
- Ensure high standards and good quality of all installation work from purchase order to receipt of payment.
- Attend progress meetings and report progress to customers.
- Provide satisfactory service to maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist the PMO Director for planning implementation schedules and human resource allocation within budget and time frame of every project.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering fields or equivalent with minimum 7–10 years of work experience in enterprise and IT industry with major involvement in project management for turnkey data centre site preparation works.Strong knowledge of project management techniques and good communication skills.Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.Proficient spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.Self‑motivated, good team player and customer focus.Core Principles
