Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for IT projects and initiatives
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and focus groups to understand current processes and future needs
- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams
Process Improvement
Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimizationRecommend technology solutions and process improvements that align with business strategyDocument current state (AS-IS) and future state (TO-BE) processes using appropriate modeling techniquesDevelop business cases and ROI analyses for proposed solutionsStakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teamsFacilitate communication and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groupsPresent findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and stakeholdersBuild strong relationships with business partners to understand their strategic objectivesSolution Design & Implementation
Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirementsParticipate in solution architecture discussions and provide business perspectiveSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios and validating resultsEnsure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standardsData Analysis & Reporting
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisionsCreate dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectivelyMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure solution effectivenessProvide analytical support for strategic initiatives and decision-makingDocumentation & Knowledge Management
Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, process flows, and system specificationsCreate user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articlesEnsure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholdersContribute to the continuous improvement of BA practices and methodologiesRequired Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an FMCG environmentProven track record of successfully delivering IT projects from requirements through implementationTechnical Skills
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (process modeling, use cases, user stories)Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)Professional Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProactively manage and collaborate with key stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications
