Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in account payable and account receivable.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the company's sustainable growth and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the accounts payable function by processing invoices, verifying approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including preparing invoices, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support the external audit process.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other tax-related filings.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and tasks as assigned by the accounting team.
