About the Role

Join Malaysia’s leading cinema brand and take the lead in driving sales excellence across multiple business areas. As Sales Manager at GSC, you will be responsible for driving both individual and team sales performance across multiple revenue streams, including on-screen advertising, corporate sales and Media Powerhouse (MPH). You will also oversee and support a team of sales professionals to ensure overall sales targets are met.

This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role , ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about driving value through creative media solutions and client partnerships. You’ll lead a team, manage top‑tier accounts and contribute directly to the commercial growth of Malaysia’s leading cinema brand.

Location : Damansara Jaya, Selangor

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi‑channel sales & revenue growth : drive sales across on‑screen advertising, corporate sales, Media Powerhouse (MPH), digital media and on‑ground activations; set clear sales targets and develop strategic plans to achieve both individual and team revenue goals; monitor and optimize multiple revenue streams to maximize overall business performance.
  • Develop strategic partnerships : build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with corporate partners, media agencies and key clients; proactively identify and nurture new business opportunities to expand GSC’s client portfolio and revenue streams; support strategic management of key accounts in the sales of Media Powerhouse (MPH) and other products and services.
  • Deliver integrated advertising solutions : create compelling, tailored media packages combining on‑screen advertising, MPH bookings and other promotional assets; collaborate with internal marketing and creative teams to design innovative advertising formats that meet client objectives; present fresh, market‑relevant solutions to clients that enhance campaign impact and maximize ROI.
  • Oversee campaign execution & client fulfilment : manage the end‑to‑end sales fulfilment process, ensuring campaigns are executed on time, within budget and meet client specifications; monitor campaign bookings, client entitlements and conduct quality control checks with clients before screenings; oversee invoicing and timely payment collections.
  • Drive reporting, analysis & performance tracking : prepare and maintain accurate sales, pipeline and collection reports; use data and analytics to identify trends, address shortfalls and develop actionable plans for revenue growth; present regular performance updates to management and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Inspire team performance & collaboration : lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and goal‑oriented culture; assign roles and responsibilities to ensure quality client servicing and efficient campaign delivery; work cross‑functionally with departments such as Marketing, IT, Finance and Cinema Operations.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in media, advertising and corporate sales or partnership development.
  • Strong track record in sales leadership, strategic planning and key account management.
  • Excellent communicator and persuasive presenter with outstanding negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative team leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and manages multiple projects with precision.
  • Analytical and performance‑driven, using data insights to make smart business decisions and achieve results.
