M&E project engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at TF KONSULT SDN BHD. As an M&E Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our engineering projects in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to effectively communicate project status, address issues, and deliver exceptional customer service

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation

Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and keep projects on track

Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and ensure the feasibility of project solutions

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle

Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the engineering team

What we're looking for

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field

Prefer minimum 5 years of experience as an M&E Project Engineer in the engineering industry

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documents

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders

Familiar with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards in the engineering industry

Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to find innovative solutions
