About the role

As the Production Manager at AIG GLASS SDN BHD', you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production department. This full-time role in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective manufacturing of the company's products.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives
Manage production workflows, schedules, and inventory to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
Oversee the performance of production staff, providing training and coaching as needed
Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and purchasing, to align production with the company's overall strategy
Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Continuously seek ways to optimise processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality

What we're looking for

Substantial experience (3+ years) in a production management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges quickly and effectively

Ability to lead and motivate a team of production personnel

Familiarity with quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies

Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
