Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and maintain PLC and SCADA systems for automation projects.
  • Develop ladder logic, function block, and structured text programs for industrial controllers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize PLC-based control systems.
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on automation solutions.
  • Integrate PLCs with HMI (Human Machine Interface), sensors, actuators, and industrial networks.
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and on-site support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in PLC programming and automation (advantage).
  • Proficiency in Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Omron PLCs (Schneider, Mitsubishi and ABB PLCs optional).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Profibus, Ethernet / IP, etc.).
  • Experience with SCADA, HMI development, and industrial networking.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for installations and support (if required).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (Optional).

    • Extra Qualifications

  • Experience with C++, Python, or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and IoT integration.
