Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Prep Assistant / Kitchen Staff to join our growing team at FUBIZO GROUP SDN. BHD. in Simpang Ampat Penang. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the timely preparation of high-quality food.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items according to established recipes and standards
Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, mixing, and portioning
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment in the kitchen
Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes
Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with regulations
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support the efficient and smooth running of operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar food preparation or kitchen assistant role—minimum 2 years

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately

Good time management and multitasking skills to handle various tasks simultaneously

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Experience with sauce making, beverage making, baking would be an advantage
