Underwrites and analyzes new and existing life insurance business within delegated authority levels to achieve business goals and maximize customer experience, with guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assignments of moderate to high complexity within delegated authority.
• Provide technical underwriting support and guidance to customers and distributors, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external distributors by requesting correct evidence, making accurate decisions, and explaining rating decisions clearly.
• Handle queries and referrals within authority limits, assess exposure, and analyze risk to uphold underwriting standards.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting standards, controls, practices, and procedures to meet business objectives.
• Assist in developing new or enhanced propositions, procedures, and philosophies to ensure appropriate premium charges for risks.
• Identify training opportunities for self and others, and assist with training as needed.
