Job description2+ years of full-stack development experience. Proven experience building full-stack web applications using PHP / Python and React. Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3) or other cloud platforms. Experience with RESTful APIs, preferably within the PHP / Laravel or Python / Django ecosystem. Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and deployment automation (e.g. GitHub Actions). Strong expertise in Laravel and modern PHP. Experience with React and frontend development best practices. Strong foundations in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and complex SQL queries. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Knowledge of infrastructure, application architecture and deployment processes. Proficient in Git and version control workflows. Comfortable in agile, fast-paced environments. Be able to speak, read, and type in English. Experience with Python for backend tasks. Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Terraform, Ansible). Experience with server-side rendering and SEO practices. Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation. Passion for learning and sharing knowledge with teammates.

Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend and full-stack features using Laravel and modern PHP.
- Build engaging, performant frontend experiences using React.
- Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to scope and implement new modules.
- Ensure performance, scalability and security of application components.
- Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code with automated test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Deploy features in a CI / CD environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and debug production systems.
- Maintain and optimise MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Integrate with REST APIs and third-party systems.
- Contribute to DevOps tasks, infrastructure management and cloud deployment.
Education Qualifications & Certificates
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject. Beneficial but not essential.
