Role Summary The Senior Manager, HRBP – Malaysia, will act as a key HR leader supporting business growth and transformation in Malaysia-based hub. This role partners closely with senior business leaders and functional heads to deliver people strategies aligned to organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
Serve as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders across Malaysia.
Develop and execute HR strategies that support talent development, workforce planning, and business growth.
Drive organizational design, change management, and culture-building initiatives.
Regional HR Oversight
Support HR operations and business partnering activities in Malaysia.
Ensure alignment of HR practices with global / regional HR frameworks and adapt to local contexts.
Collaborate with in-country HR representatives and CoEs to implement effective solutions.
Talent & Performance Management
Lead talent planning processes, performance reviews, and succession planning activities.
Champion leadership development and high-potential employee programs in Malaysia.
Promote an inclusive workplace and support DE&I goals.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Guide local HR teams in managing employee relations cases and labor law compliance in Malaysia
Advise managers on sensitive people matters and help foster a positive employee experience.
Data & Analytics
Utilize people data and analytics to inform HR strategies and decisions.
Monitor HR KPIs and metrics across the region to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
8–10+ years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a regional HRBP or HR leadership role.
Strong HR knowledge across South East Asia, with hands-on experience in Malaysia.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
Proven track record in talent management, business partnering, and organizational development.
Preferred Skills
Cross-border HR experience in a multinational setting.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of HR metrics.
Fluent in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
