Engineer - Data Analytics

Creating and Maintaining Data Visualizations : Develop and manage data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and other tools, including tasks like data extraction, transformation, modeling, and loading (ETL) in platforms like Cognite.

Running Queries and Scripts : Execute DAX queries, Python scripts, and functions within Power BI to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Statistical Analysis : Systematically collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on data sets to derive meaningful insights.

Managing Reporting Environment : Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata, ensuring efficient and secure data handling.

Business Needs and Solutions : Identify business needs, analyze data, and develop solutions to improve processes and achieve business goals, supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

Collaboration and Compliance : Collaborate with teams to develop and implement data management solutions through Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures, and troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.

What you will bring to the team :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent such as Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics.

Proficient in business intelligence and analytics platforms such as Power BI and familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, Python, R, or similar programming languages.

Good analytical skills and able to develop complex dashboard / report for business unit by understanding their needs / requirements.

Good communication and collaboration skills.
