Manage processes, develop tools, and ensure timely sample delivery to customers and internal engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and deploy NPI software tools for backend manufacturing teams
- Determine functionality gaps and fill those gaps
- Engage IT to provide requirements for the software tools
- Perform user acceptance testing on software changes
- Prioritize IT work
- Provide training on tool deployment for Micron team members
Develop and deploy backend NPI processes
Develop backend NPI processes to meet customer demands by the commit dateCollaborate with other organizations to drive end-to-end NPI processesDrive specific business processes to backend manufacturing sitesDevelop initial metrics and deploy processes to collaboratorsIdentify accountability, responsibility, consultation, and information roles for NPI activitiesDeploy NPI commit process to global backend manufacturing sites
Train and align backend manufacturing sites to new commit processes and tool functionalitySupervise usage and functionality of new processesProvide auditing and governance of commit processBuild reporting of metricsProvide NPI planning and execution
Review capacity constraints and drive OCAP changesProvide input to other NPI-related business processesMonitor, manage, and drive site and engineering executionCommunicate priority changes to backend manufacturing sitesFacilitate site-to-site equipment and material movesProvide site-level build plans and forecasted NPI requirements for external subcontractorsManage backend NPI processes
Develop and manage the backend NPI network through metricsEvaluate and deploy Best Known Methods (BKMs) to drive NPI process improvementsMaintain existing documentationCollaborate with collaborators globally
Facilitate consistent execution on project scope, requirements, deliverables, testing, and implementationAssist in troubleshooting sophisticated issues and provide clear problem understanding for resolutionInitiate and maintain effective communication with internal and external collaboratorsRepresent backend NPI in global meetingsEnsure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment

Preferred but not required :
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study with equivalent experience accepted1-3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing, backend or planning
