About the role
We are seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join our team at RAINBOW PELLET SDN. BHD' on a 6-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and financial support to ensure the smooth running of our operations in Kuala Lumpur.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with general accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in payment processing to suppliers and maintain proper records.
- Ensure all payments are checked and processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain financial records and perform bank reconciliations.
- Perform accurate data entry in SQL Accounting System.
- Help in bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations and data entry, update record and maintain proper filing.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts other financial records.
- Carry out other accounting functions as assigned from time to time.
What we're looking for
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields with minimum experience two (2) years.Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, AP & AR, bank reconciliationFamiliar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.Familiarity with SQL Accounting software.PC literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel).Excellent communications skills.Well-organized, responsible, and able to work independentlyWilling to work and be stationed at DUTAMAS, KLAbout us
