Overview

As the Operations Manager, you'll be a key member of our E-commerce team who play a crucial role in shaping and executing our operational strategy, ensuring that all our E-Commerce business operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. You'll be responsible for building a robust operational framework, managing day-to-day operations, and leading a high-performing team. What You'll Do

  • Develop and Optimize Operational Frameworks : Design, implement, and continuously improve the operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the D2C business. This includes managing workflows for client onboarding, store management and reporting.
  • Team Leadership and Management : Lead, mentor, and motivate the Operations team to ensure they meet performance targets. Youll be responsible for team development, performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Oversee Day-to-Day Operations : Ensure all operational tasks are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Youll be the point person for resolving operational issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including Account Management, Brand Strategy and Creative Development, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and projects.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational processes. Prepare and present regular reports to the Department Head, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Quality and Compliance : Ensure all operations adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Who You Are

  • At least 5 years of experience in an operations management role, preferably within the e-commerce or D2C industry. Experience in a startup or a fast-paced environment is a plus.
  • A natural leader with a proven ability to manage, train, and inspire a team. You are empathetic yet results-driven and can effectively delegate tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can quickly identify issues, analyse data, and implement effective solutions.
  • You're not just a doer; you can think strategically about how to improve processes and build scalable operational frameworks that support business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You can articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively, whether you're speaking with your team, senior management, or external partners.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficient with operational management software and tools. Experience with platforms like Shopify, Magento, or other e-commerce and marketplaces is highly desirable.
