The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.

Job Overview

The primary role of the incumbent is to manage the daily operations and functioning of equipment and facilities at the Straits Quay mall.

Responsibilities

Inspection of Mechanical & Electrical equipment on a daily basis
Preventive planning on the future operations of equipment and defect rectification
Repairing and servicing of the air-conditioning system
Record and report all faults, deficiencies and any other unusual occurrences
Inspection, repairing & servicing include day to day operations of the car park system
Able to do plumbing & sanitary works assigned.
Able to prepare / plan for material & pulling cabling for minor electrical works
Upkeep the store and maintenance room
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time

Requirements

Diploma / Certificate in relevance to Electrical and Mechanical studies

Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in building maintenance. Experience in a retail environment, shopping complex or property management will be an advantage

Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

Flexible to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
