Overview

Our client is a trusted corporate services provider that delivers measurable value to organizations through tailored corporate solutions designed to drive growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in the company secretarial division, driving operational excellence and ensuring delivery of value-added corporate secretarial services.
  • Oversee and advise on company secretarial matters for public listed companies (PLCs), private limited companies (Sdn Bhd), and IPO-related work.
  • Manage Board, Board Committee, and General Meetings, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of agendas, papers, and minutes.
  • Review and approve statutory filings, returns, notifications, and corporate governance disclosures.
  • Provide high-level advisory support to clients and the Board on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, including the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Bursa Malaysia, and other relevant authorities.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals, ensuring continuous growth and capability building within the team.
  • Drive business development initiatives by supporting new client onboarding, IPO projects, and expansion of service offerings.

Requirements

  • Licensed Company Secretary, registered with SSM.
  • Professional qualification and membership in ICSA / MAICSA / MACS.
  • More than 15 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice, including significant involvement with PLCs, Sdn Bhd companies, and IPO exercises.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex client portfolios.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, SSM guidelines, and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance.
  • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of professionalism, independence, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in statutory records maintenance, MyCoID, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
