Senior Human Resource Executive — Abitare Sdn Bhd

Base pay range

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on changes and advising management on necessary actions to maintain legal compliance.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including addressing employee grievances, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to managers on disciplinary actions, promoting a positive and fair work environment.
  • Administer the performance management system, including facilitating performance reviews, providing feedback to employees, and working with managers to develop performance improvement plans, driving employee development and productivity.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system with accurate employee data, generating reports and analyzing trends to support HR decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company goals and objectives, and effectively communicated to all employees.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs, identifying training needs, sourcing training providers, and tracking employee progress, enhancing employee skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to employees, and resolving any related issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and wellness programs, fostering a positive and engaged workforce.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance across all HR practices.
  • Proven experience in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software for efficient data management and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and implementing performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • Ability to handle employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
