Lead Principal Engineer Process Integration

Job Description In your new role you will : Take technical lead role in GaN technology and process development / integration to realize Infineon’s GaN technology roadmap. Define new GaN devices and technology architectures based on customer and company needs. Establish new GaN technology device, design rules, and test methodologies. Conduct DOEs on GaN wafers to maximize device and process performance with good reliability. Lead and own technical process / device problem solving creatively, and create process and device IP for GaN tech development. Support the growth of Infineon’s patent portfolio by screening ideas for patentability. Develop methodologies for continuous process / device improvements. Build competence within the development team by leading towards deep device understanding supported by simulation methods. Support GaN production ramp activities through analysis and problem solving on critical topics. Establish collaboration with universities and research institutions (especially in Japan) to support GaN tech development. .

Your Profile You are best equipped if you have : University degree (master or above) in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, chemical engineering, or related fields. 15+ years of experience in semiconductor technologies, including development, process integration, or fab production. A strong background in semiconductor physics, especially GaN HEMT structures and III-V material systems. Experience with power device development, characterization, and process development / integration. Experience working in multicultural, high-tech project teams with project management skills, and leading development projects. Expertise in milestone planning and release procedures. A systematic problem-solving mindset. High self-motivation, result focus, and ability to work under dynamic conditions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a good team player. .
